Since it is impossible to plan anything, here’s some of the things I would appreciate could happen - and possibly can happen - during 2021:

• “Choosing to sing” - TBA. The record with Eivind Lønning (trp) and Ensemble neoN was released in March 2020 (Sofa Music), but didn’t get a proper release concert. This year that will hopefully change - stay tuned.

• “Both sides now”, a new piece for 2 pianos and 2 percussionists, will have it’s premiere 1 year later than planned. Really looking forward to hearing this live, 13. november in Moss kirke (Church), as part of newMusic’s Høstriss festival.

• The bass virtuoso Håkon Thelin has commissioned a small piece, to be performed 20. March among a very interesting (and local) repertoar. Hopefully it is possible for this concert to happen in a safe way.

• Flute player Alessandra Rombolá has commissioned a piece by me for her record to be released on Sofa Music. TBA

• Jennifer Torrence: “Limits”. A large installation piece for percussionist/ad hoc performer, TBA.

• New piece for trio (sop, hrp, perc), commissioned by Sunniva Rødland. TBA.

Also , this year I will collaborate with Susanna Wallumrød and orchestra, on a couple of arrangements. And I will transform/produce a record for and with Thom Hell.
